Meet the Speaker
Mark Pierce, MD, FAAP is former Chief Medical Information Officer at Parkview Health, a five-hospital health system in northeastern Indiana. He now operates his own consulting company and continues clinical practice in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Pierce has spoken nationally on topics including knowledge management in healthcare delivery and cognitive design of healthcare information systems. His work also encompasses medication safety and designing and implementing EHR solutions that map to the physician’s cognitive and workflow needs.

Dr. Pierce is currently on faculty of the American College of Physician Executives is also a member of the AMDIS, HIMSS and AMIA.
