Robert E. Watson
President and Chief Executive Officer
Robert E. Watson was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Mr. Watson has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare information technology industry as a CEO, board member and advisor to multiple companies. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Watson was President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of DocuSys, Inc., a leading provider of anesthesia information systems that was acquired by Merge Healthcare Inc. in March 2010. Immediately prior to joining the Company Mr. Watson was engaged as a consultant to several venture capital firms and growth stage healthcare companies. Prior to joining DocuSys, he was Executive Vice President of Business Development of Concuity, a healthcare division of Trintech, Plc. Before that position, he was President and Chief Executive Officer and a director at Concuity Inc, which was acquired by Trintech, Plc. in December 2006. Prior to joining Concuity in 2001, Watson was acting Chief Executive Officer of HealthTrac Corporation, Vice President and General Manager at Cerner Corporation while serving as the Chief Executive Officer of its IQHealth business unit and has been the founder or senior executive of several successful healthcare organizations throughout his career. Mr. Watson was a director of Satori Labs, Inc. which was sold to Quality Systems, Inc. in 2011.
Stephen Murdock, CPA
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Stephen Murdock joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2011. Mr. Murdock has extensive financial executive experience in a career spanning 30 years, including systems implementation, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting, and equity and debt capital financing transactions. Most recently Mr. Murdock served as an independent capital financing consultant on a number of major projects in the municipal infrastructure sector, the healthcare sector, and has provided Chief Financial Officer services to a number of private companies. Previously Mr. Murdock served as Chief Financial Officer of Orion HealthCorp, Inc., a publicly-traded company providing practice management services to physicians and physician practices including billing, collections, coding and reimbursement services, managed care contract services, as well as accounting and bookkeeping services. Mr. Murdock has also served as Chief Financial Officer for Nations Healthcare, Inc. and Visiting Nurse Health System, Inc.
Gary M. Winzenread
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Gary M. Winzenread joined the Company in 2007 as the Director of Product Strategy and shortly thereafter assumed responsibility for Product Development as well. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Mr. Winzenread was a consultant to Streamline Health in 2007, and prior to that spent 8 years as the President and CEO of Praxis Solutions, the software development consultancy he founded in 1998. As CEO of Praxis, he led the company through many years of growth over 50% per annum to a 40 person consultancy he successfully sold in 2004 to Number Six Software of McLean, VA, with whom he stayed in executive capacities through 2006.
Rick Leach
Senior Vice President, Solutions Marketing
Richard D. Leach joined the Company in March, 2011. Mr. Leach is responsible for the strategic planning, direction and execution of the company’s solution plans and also oversees the company’s marketing and marketing communications activities. Mr. Leach has over 20 years executive level experience developing and marketing healthcare information and technology products and services across multiple healthcare verticals, including hospitals/health systems, health plans, physician groups, leading web portal companies, home health agencies, and consumers. Most recently he served as the Sr. Vice President, Health Solutions for A.D.A.M., Inc., a publicly traded company in Atlanta, Georgia from 2008 to 2011 where he had P&L responsibility for the company’s largest and most profitable business unit. Before joining A.D.A.M., Mr. Leach was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and a founding partner at HealthTime, a start-up childhood obesity program. Mr. Leach was responsible for developing sales and marketing programs designed to reach both physicians and consumers. Mr. Leach has held executive positions with a number of other healthcare companies, including McKesson Health Solutions, Consumer Health and Access Health.
Michael Schiller
Senior Vice President, Sales
Michael Schiller joined the company in 2012 as Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Schiller brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the Healthcare Information Technology market. He most recently served as Area Vice President at Allscripts, where he was responsible for all new business sales in the Gulf Region and directed a team of sales leaders and sales professionals. His prior experience includes supporting, implementing, and selling software solutions. He has managed several sales organizations that provided solutions and services in the acute, radiology, and ambulatory markets. Before joining Allscripts, Mr. Schiller spent 15 years with IDX/GE in various roles ranging from an individual contributor to executive management. Prior to IDX/GE, he held the titles of Business Office Director at a large multispecialty group and Senior Reimbursement Analyst in the oncology market.
Trish Wharton, RHIA
Vice President, Account Management
Trish Wharton joined the Company in 1996 as a Product Manager and then assumed responsibility for the Product Management team as the Executive Director of Product Planning. In 2009 Ms. Wharton moved into the role of National Account Manager, managing many of Streamline Health’s client relationships and ongoing revenue opportunities. Currently she serves as the Vice President of Account Management with responsibility for the team that manages all clients. Prior to joining Streamline Health Ms. Wharton was a Product Specialist at McKesson, where she worked primarily with their STAR HIM solutions. Before McKesson Ms. Wharton was an HIM Director at a Cincinnati hospital within the Mercy Health System and managed the coding department at UCHealth hospital.
Matt S. Seefeld
Chief Strategist, Revenue Cycle
Matt S. Seefeld joined Streamline Health in 2011 with the acquisition of Interpoint Partners, LLC. He brings over 12 years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry to the company. His career focus has been the design and deployment of technology solutions directed at gross revenue, net income, and balance sheet improvement for hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician group practices nationwide. He brings extensive expertise in the assessment, design, and implementation of process improvement programs across the entire revenue cycle, including clinical operations and capacity management. Mr. Seefeld began his career with Stockamp & Associates, Inc. and worked for both PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte Consulting LLP in their Healthcare and Life Sciences practice lines prior to co-founding Interpoint Partners, LLC.
Tom Dean
Vice President, Product Engineering
Tom Dean joined the company in 2011 and has over 28 years of experience in the healthcare information systems industry. Prior to joining Streamline Health, Mr. Dean served as Vice President of Research and Development for CareCentric, a healthcare solutions company that offered industry-leading software and services to post-acute care providers for over 40 years. Prior to CareCentric, Mr. Dean was Vice President of Product Development for DocuSys, an anesthesia information management system vendor. Before joining DocuSys, Mr. Dean was employed by Eclipsys Corporation, where he was Vice President of Platform Engineering and led teams totaling over 70 employees locally and offshore.
Michael Brooks
Vice President, Client Services
Michael Brooks joined Streamline Health in 2009 and has over 15 years of experience in client operations management. He began his career at the Company as Director of Implementation Services, and sequentially expanded his role to Executive Director, adding responsibility for Support Operations and Software as a Service (SaaS) Operations. In his current role as Vice President, Client Services, he is responsible for the Software as a Service business, the Software Maintenance and Support business and client implementations. Prior to joining Streamline Health, Mr. Brooks served as Vice President within First Data’s Government Solutions division. In this role, he led the Solution Center organization which consisted of over 80 associates, and was responsible for all client implementations.
