Job Summary:
The Implementation Consultant-HIM reports to the Manager of Implementation Consultants. He/she is responsible for working closely with the client departments that will be impacted by the implementation of Streamline Health HIM solutions, during all stages of the implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Determines each department’s functional requirements by conducting interviews with key personnel, observing and collecting information about the use of current systems, and reviewing current policies/procedures.
- Assists with forms and documentation redesign to increase efficient capture of information.
- Provides product expertise on the Streamline Health applications.
- Performs client training.
- Facilitates system design work sessions and documentation to determine best use of all applications.
- Performs table building and system set up as needed by the client.
- Provides documentation and assistance to clients in making custom workflow design decisions.
- Provides support during User Acceptance Testing to insure system functions as designed.
- Provides support during entire project implementation lifecycle.
- Conducts post-implementation assessments.
- Provides assistance to Support Services in resolving issues and answering questions for our clients.
- Provides support to Product Management and Sales Team when needed.
- Support of all Streamline policies, processes and procedures, including, but not limited to:
- Time reporting (both project and administrative hours)
Qualifications:
- RHIT/RHIA Certification preferred.
- Two years minimum experience in a hospital HIM department or healthcare consulting.
- In depth knowledge of all HIM processes, both from an acute care as well as clinic or physician office setting.
- Strong work ethic. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and excellence for the customer and the company.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Visio and Microsoft SharePoint Server a plus.
- Ability to travel 50-60% (may exceed during normal project timeframes).
- Must be located in either Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA.
Physical Requirements:
- Air travel required as is ability to drive to client locations across the US and Canada.
