Robert E. Watson was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Mr. Watson has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare information technology industry as a CEO, board member and advisor to multiple companies.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Watson was President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of DocuSys, Inc., a leading provider of anesthesia information systems that was acquired by Merge Healthcare Inc. in March 2010. Immediately prior to joining the Company Mr. Watson was engaged as a consultant to several venture capital firms and growth stage healthcare companies.
Prior to joining DocuSys, he was Executive Vice President of Business Development of Concuity, a healthcare division of Trintech, Plc. Before that position, he was President and Chief Executive Officer and a director at Concuity Inc, which was acquired by Trintech, Plc. in December 2006.
Prior to joining Concuity in 2001, Watson was acting Chief Executive Officer of HealthTrac Corporation, Vice President and General Manager at Cerner Corporation while serving as the Chief Executive Officer of its IQHealth business unit and has been the founder or senior executive of several successful healthcare organizations throughout his career. Mr. Watson was a director of Satori Labs, Inc. which was sold to Quality Systems, Inc. in 2011.
Nicholas Meeks joined the company as Vice President of Financial Planning in 2012 and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Mr. Meeks has financial executive experience in areas including mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting, and equity and debt capital financing transactions.
Most recently Mr. Meeks served as Vice President of Financial Planning leading the Company’s efforts in the M&A department. He led the Company’s due diligence, financial analysis, planning and forecasting on the acquisition of Meta Health Solutions in 2012.
Mr. Meeks previously worked at Chamberlin Edmonds, which was acquired by Emdeon Inc., where he went on to lead the finance function for the Provider Payment Integrity operating unit.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelors degree from Emory University.
Richard Nelli joined Streamline Health in 2013. Richard is an accomplished healthcare technology and product management executive.
Richard has launched over 50 healthcare product and service offerings over his career, many of which are the recognized leaders in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Richard served as the Chief Technology Officer at CareMedic Systems and led the Product Management and Information Technology areas of one of the leading US healthcare revenue cycle organizations. He led CareMedic through the successful acquisition by United Health Group in 2010.
Also serving as Vice President of Product Management at Quovadx, he guided the company’s Cloverleaf Integration strategies, which led to the successful acquisition by Battery Ventures in 2007. Richard is a visible industry thought leader, and highly sought after public speaker.
He currently serves as an advisor to the US Healthcare Efficiency Index, and is active in such healthcare industry organizations as Cooperative Exchange, WEDI, HFMA, AHIMA, and HIMSS. Richard holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems with a minor in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
Michael Schiller joined the company in 2012 as Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Schiller brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the Healthcare Information Technology market.
He most recently served as Area Vice President at Allscripts, where he was responsible for all new business sales in the Gulf Region and directed a team of sales leaders and sales professionals. His prior experience includes supporting, implementing, and selling software solutions. He has managed several sales organizations that provided solutions and services in the acute, radiology, and ambulatory markets.
Before joining Allscripts, Mr. Schiller spent 15 years with IDX/GE in various roles ranging from an individual contributor to executive management.
Prior to IDX/GE, he was the Business Office Director, and Senior Reimbursement Analyst.
Matt S. Seefeld joined Streamline Health in 2011 with the acquisition of Interpoint Partners, LLC. He brings over 12 years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry to the company.
Matt’s career focus has been the design and deployment of technology solutions directed at gross revenue, net income, and balance sheet improvement for hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician group practices nationwide.
He brings extensive expertise in the assessment, design, and implementation of process improvement programs across the entire revenue cycle, including clinical operations and capacity management.
Mr. Seefeld began his career with Stockamp & Associates, Inc. and worked for both PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte Consulting LLP in their Healthcare and Life Sciences practice lines prior to co-founding Interpoint Partners, LLC.
Herb joined Streamline Health as SVP, Client Services in January 2013. Immediately prior to joining Streamline Health, Herb was Principal, Healthcare Industry Strategy with Edifecs, Inc., a privately-held healthcare information technology firm headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
During his seven year+ tenure at Edifecs, Herb was responsible for building and managing various departments across the organization, including Sales, Industry Relations, Alliances and Client Services.
Prior to Edifecs, Herb held senior product and market leadership roles at Quovadx (now Lawson Software) from 2000 to 2004.
Herb also served as a Director in Arthur Andersen LLP’s Healthcare Consulting Practice in Atlanta, and was responsible for relationships with numerous top-tier payer and provider clients across the healthcare spectrum from 1997 to 2000.
Herb also had direct claims, customer service and a network operations responsibility for BCBS of Georgia’s Atlanta Market from 1992 to 1997, and served in account management at CIGNA Corporation.
Carolyn Zelnio joined the Company in 2013 and is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions and management of the treasury. She leverages over 20 years of financial management, organizational strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational change and public company compliance.
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Zelnio held CFO and other executive roles at Aderant, a legal software company, Purewire, a software-as-a-service web security services provider (acquired by Barracuda Networks), EnterConnect, and Witness Systems, a leading provider of workforce optimization software (acquired by Verint). In her various capacities, Ms. Zelnio has accomplished successful company acquisitions, grown a pre-IPO company from start-up to $225 million in revenues, expanded offices internationally, established banking, financing and world-wide tax strategies, implemented treasury and cash management initiatives, and implemented processes and controls required for SEC and SOX compliance and reporting.
Carolyn Zelnio also worked with KPMG as a Senior Manager and specialized in the audits of multi-national public companies.
Ms. Zelnio is an active CPA and received her Bachelor of Accounting from Florida International University.
